How accurate is SpideyAI's diagnosis?
Our AI achieves over 95% accuracy on common pests and diseases when given clear photos. Accuracy improves with good lighting and focused images of the affected area. We're continuously training our models to handle edge cases better.
What plants does SpideyAI support?
SpideyAI works with most common vegetables, herbs, fruits, and ornamental plants grown at home. This includes tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, lettuce, basil, strawberries, roses, and hundreds more. We're constantly adding new plants.
Does it work offline?
Currently, SpideyAI requires an internet connection to analyze photos. Our AI models run in the cloud to provide the most accurate and up-to-date diagnoses. We're exploring offline capabilities for future versions.
How do I take a good photo for diagnosis?
For best results: use natural daylight, focus on the affected area, include both damaged and healthy parts for comparison, and avoid blurry images. Multiple angles help with complex issues.
Are the treatment recommendations safe?
We prioritize organic and natural solutions. All chemical recommendations include safety warnings and application guidelines. Always read product labels and follow local regulations. When in doubt, start with the gentlest option.
Can SpideyAI identify beneficial insects?

What if the AI can't identify my problem?
If our AI isn't confident in a diagnosis, it will tell you and suggest alternative possibilities. Pro users can submit unclear cases for expert review. Your feedback helps us improve for everyone.
Is my data private?
Absolutely. Your photos are processed securely and not shared with third parties. We only use images to improve our AI if you explicitly opt-in. You can delete your data anytime from account settings.
When will the app be available?
We're currently in beta testing. Join the beta to get early access! We're planning a full launch on iOS and Android in 2025. Beta users will get special pricing when we launch.
Can I use SpideyAI for commercial farming?
SpideyAI is designed for home growers and small gardens. For commercial agricultural operations, we recommend consulting with professional agronomists. We may offer commercial solutions in the future.
